Keyboarding Apps and Resources for the iPad

Questions of keyboarding training using the iPad on occasion arise. Listed below are keyboarding instruction apps for the iPad and Android tablet. At the bottom of the list are a few web-based keyboarding instruction sites that will work on the iPad ( do not require flash) for keyboarding practice. Consider using a standard Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard when practicing 10 finger keyboarding skills for training on standard keyboard layout and ergonomic positioning.

Hi there- I’m very curious about the keyboard in the photo accompanying this post. Does it attach to the iPad? Is it one piece that covers the whole front of the iPad? Or is it only half (just enough to cover the built-in iPad keyboard? Is it plastic with holes to put the finger through to press the key?? Any info is greatly appreciated.

  Hi Becky, I provided information on my blog about the keyboard. It is a Touch fire keyboard. It is a membrane that fits over the keyboard of the iPad and provides tactile feedback when keying.
